Starwin Management team is getting involved in this program and we encourage you to as well!

ActivateNT Darwin aims to provide low cost activities in parks, community centres, public pools and facilities across Darwinto encourage ongoing participation by residents of all ages in healthy lifestyle behaviours. Council will be introducing participants to special events and weekly activities already available in their community that they can incorporate into their everyday lives.

The program will offer a range of free and subsidised healthy activities and special events for participants of all abilities and fitness levels. ActivateNT Darwin is funded by City of Darwin and the Federal Department of Health and Ageing.

TRACY VILLAGE SOFTBALL CLUB training commenced Wednesday on 11/04/2012 and is now on each Wednesday, from 5.30pm @ Tracy Village Ovals, Tambling Terrace.
Total Costs: $120 + $70 Uniform ($60 NT Softball Registration, $20 Tracy Village Membership, $20 Club Shirt, $20 Club Fee, Shirt $30, Shorts $20, Socks $10, Hat $10)

Best Practice Volunteer Recruitment This workshop explores motivations and interests and how they affect volunteer recruitment and retention by addressing the steps taken to prepare excellent position descriptions and skills match for the particular role/s in your organisation.

Developing Grant Applications Do you want to know how to obtain grant money? This workshop starts with your plans and ideas and goes through to the research needed, community involvement processes, how to apply, who to ask for help and the special language of grant application writing. Learn about budgeting and acquittal of funds and processes to increase your chances of $$$ success.

Risk Management-an introduction Learn how to identify and prioritise potential risks and develop risk management strategies in your organisation and how to make plans for a safer volunteer workplace. You will also find ways to identify and evaluate risks and learn to analyse and report on risks. This workshop looks at important methods, tools and techniques for increased safety in your organisation.
