Kiva Weaving was born as a healing practice for Kuku Yalanji maker, Tarna Davis.
A beauty and wellbeing therapist by trade, Tarna has been single handedly raising two kids and running a home based business in Cairns.
In late 2023, Tarna discovered and had urgent surgery to remove a Osteosarcoma. Having to temporarily shut down her beauty service and focus on healing and recovery, Tarna learnt from her sister, Tarsha Davis the art of weaving.
Many of these creations have been woven with kindness from her hospital bed and represent a path to wellbeing. You can follow and support Tara's journey @tarnas_beauty_base
Each set is a one-of-a-kindness creation and comes packaged in a small gift box.
