Our Vision for 2022 affirms our commitment to investing in the next generation. This month we have been able to reignite our career pathways program, in collaboration with Youthworx NT.
Last week, we welcomed Cheyenne as an intern and after her first few days on the job we invited her to share a little of her story with our community.

"Hi, my Name is Cheyenne Page, I was born and raised in Darwin, NT. My Mother’s side of the family is from a little community in Arnhemland called Maningrida. I’m from the Anbarra-Nakarra tribe. My skin name is Bangardijan.
I’m very passionate about helping people. It’s something I love to do, it makes me feel good about myself and that i’m doing something right in life. I was always taught to pay something forward and it will come back to you. I’ve just recently turned 18 and experiencing adulthood. Starting to figure life out one step at a time. I’m so excited to be working at Starwin as it’s a start to many opportunities. I’m currently working to gain more skills, independence, and confidence."
Cheyenne will be working Thursday to Saturdays this month, receiving support through our Each One, Teach One Mentoring program. We hope you make her welcome too.
