'Lighting the Way' was an initiative sparked by our younger team & collective members, keen to learn the art of candle-making.
Our mission for 2022 is to 'Listen, Learn and Light the Way'. For us this means:
Listen: With a passion for doing business better, we have taken the time to listen deeply. Our collective and our dreams are our priority.
Learn: We aim to multiply the value of work we do, by investing in our next generation of leaders, and their learning.
Light the Way: by empowering our team, we light the way for others to follow too.
With funding support from Youth NT, we were able to offer two workshops during the July school holidays in Darwin that enabled us to achieve our 2022 Vision. Our team came together and co-designed the sessions to take place and ReTelling Country x Ocean Rose NT collaborated to plan, market, cater and facilitate the sessions.
Gratitude to all young people aged 16 to 30 years who came along to connect and create and we thank the support of organisations like Youthworx NT and Launch Darwin for promoting the sessions to their networks.
