Handwoven basket, made with kindness by Jacinta Tipunwuti, from the Wangatunga Womens group.
The Tiwi strong women's group is based at Wurrumiyanga, Bathurst Island (Tiwi Islands) and they weave together as a therapeutic practice to promote better health and wellbeing and keep their spirit strong.
Each woven gift is a one-of-a-kindness creation & feature traditionally dyed pandanus, woven with traditional pandanus mixed with modern colourful raffia.
