Our absolute commitment is to creating career pathways for women to do what they love, where they love. From our inception our mission has been to use our profit for purpose, to design and provide one-of-a-kindness youth leadership initiatives to create community change.
Seeing a young leader step into a space of the great unknown, yet make it their own, is so powerful. Two months ago Sharniqua bravely left her role leading our Darwin store and her Nursing Degree, to instead board a plane and take up studying Fashion and Design at UTS in Sydney, with support from Jumbunna Institute.
This week we flew her up to Port Douglas for her uni break to spend time with us and further her work experience, and now she has benefited from working across both of our sites.
But the privilige is ours; listening to her stories, seeing her complete her assignments and having time together has fostered a deep respect for the personal and professional leadership she has developed, beyond her years. Thank you Niqua for not just being part of our collective but for being part of our family too 💜 we can't wait to see where the next part of your journey takes you!
