Cape York Girl Academy
In 2021 our Port Douglas space hosted Verona Platt, assisting her to complete her Cert 1 in Volunteering whilst studying at Cape York Girl Academy.

Our collaboration with Cape York Girl Academy was first launched in term 4 of 2019 we launched a collaboration with Cape York Girl Academy in Wangetti to host senior girls on work experience as part of their Duke of Edingburgh program.
Both Aretha Bani and Esther Brim completed shifts at our Port Douglas shopfront under the mentorship of owner Karina Gray and artist in residence Delissa Walker.
We further supported the Girl Academy by providing dresses from our Higher Attire for Young Stars initiative for their 2019 graduation.
