Darwin for all Seasons, is a guide by Sue Moffitt, a lover of all things local in the tropical north. Sue’s guide books are dedicated to taking you on a journey through through Darwin and the Top End to explore not only the must-see attractions but also her local haunts. Sue walked into our store in 2015 to show her support and has been an active member of our collective community ever since.
How would you describe ways that you give back / pay it forward in our community?
I volunteer for the Friends of the Botanic Gardens, a beautiful space in the heart of Darwin city.
What is your one-of-a-kindness story?
Wherever I am, I share my passion for Darwin, in particular changing people's opinions of experiencing Darwin in the wet. I love helping people get the most of their stay here.
Can you share with us a story of how you care for country?
I am the author and photographer of my book. It is self published and printed in Australia. I am a supporter of "buy local" and sell my books in many of Darwin's markets, along with the Starwin store. The content of the book very much features journeys and itineraries to our National Parks and reserves, sharing my love of Darwin and the Top End.
