Youth Leadership
When you visit our sites, expect to be treated with kindness, experience local culture and engage with local Makers & Kreators - all part of the one-of-a-kindness experience we offer
We have two spaces in Darwin (founded in 2013), and Port Douglas (founded in 2019), now known as 'Share Spaces'. These sites are the hub of our Career Pathways initiatives, which aim to support community leaders to do what they love, where they love. Growing this, in 2021, we invested in the establishment of The Cove by Mayala Bol, co-located with our Darwin store.
Our mission is to support young Indigenous women to transition into the workforce, and in 2019, we developed a mentoring model: 'Each One, Teach One', growing a one-of-a-kindness framework for engaging new workers and supporting our team their emerging careers.
Our Darwin team is well supported on site by Liz Grylls (EMG Psychology), Karina Kassman (artist in residence) and Kara Blakely (executive support).
In 2022, we are planting the seeds for the Next Generation and our mission is extending our mentoring model and for each our team members to grow their own community enterprise.
